The Australian Stripey is a captivating little fish with a ton of personality! While often called the Australian Stripey, they actually occur in various locations worldwide. Prolific in the Pacific, they are found from Australia, to the Philippines, to Hawaii!

Known for its distinctive striped pattern and lively behavior, this species makes a great aquarium addition, giving plenty of contrast and movement! These fish, though relatively new to the hobby have shown an inclination to eat pest Aiptesia Anemones and may be an alternative to an Aiptasia-eating Filefish or Copperband Butterflyfish!

Known for the voracious feeding habits, these fish will take to almost any type of prepared foods and do not take much enticing to feed. They are an incredibly active fish, so a tank of 4ft in length is minimum.  These fish are incredibly peaceful and typically do not bother other fish.  They are also proving to be incredibly disease resistant and are overall a very hardy fish, so they make great choices for beginners!
